Menus» Menus Items (select the menu-item that you want to hide)» Link Type » Display in Menu » No

To amend try adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters (Extensions -> Templates -> [YourTemplateStyle] -> Custom CSS)....

.hornav,

.slideout-toggle {

    display: none;

}
