For the mobile version of this site: http://www.danserescassandra.nl/ I chose the "SlideOut" setting in the template at "Responsive options". Now on a mobile some items are not clickable. What I am doing wrong? I duplicated the englisch and dutch menu and set the position to hornav-mobile and set the Menu Tag ID of both modules to mobile.

Thank you for any help!

Yours sincerly, Marijke

Hi Marijke

The solution offered at https://www.joomla51.com/forum/hannah-template-menu-dropdown-not-working-on-mouse-over?limitstart=0 should have also resolved this issue for you?

Hi Ciarán,

You are right, it does! But there is one but... the main item, for instance "classes" now functions as a toggle in the mobile menu, the item itself cannot be reached anymore through the mobile menu. For instance tapping "Contact" opens the submenu, but you can't get to the contact page, whilst on a desktop clicking on contact gets you to the contact page. Is there a magical setting for that?

So far you have bashed me around the head with stuff I could have fixed myself, I am sorry for that... Many thanks for your help.

Kind regards, Marijke

Hi Marijke

It is a little tricky as clicking the item can only open the subitems or follow the link but not both. Two possible solutions may be..

1. Try adding the parent menu item link as a sub menu item.

2. Switch to the SlickNav mobile menu and try the following... https://joomla51.com/tutorials/item/mobile-menu-linking-parent-items

Yeah I understand what you are saying... I liked the look of the SlickNav menu less, that's why I chose this one. Lets see what the client thinks... Thanks for all your help!

kind regards,
