Hi everyone,

the default search module in the header-2 position of the Habitat template doesn't fully work and only performs a search upon pressing enter/return. Nothing happens though, when the button with magnifying glass icon image is pressed. When I deactivate the "search button image" in the module settings and use a standard button with text, then the button becomes active and does the search. I would prefer to use the magnifying glass icon image, though!

This malfunction is also apparent on the Demo server template. Does anyone has a solution for this?

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention!!. To amend please replace the following in your templates mod_search override (../templates/j51_habitat/html/mod_search/default.php - line20)..


$btn_output = ' <input type="hidden" value="" on-click="this.form.searchword.focus();"/><i class="icon-search"></i>';


With...


$btn_output = ' <input class="button" type="image" on-click="this.form.searchword.focus();" src="/build/habitat/" value="Search"><i class="icon-search"></i>';


Finally add the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters...


.search input.button {
height: 20px;
opacity: 0;
position: absolute;
width: 20px;
z-index: 100;
}

thanks so much. I got it to work after replacing the code and adding the custom CSS as instructed.
