Help - I am importing png photos that have a transparent background and for some reason the template is automatically putting a white box around it. I checked for a setting to change it but did not see one.

Does anyone know of a setting I should be changing? It doesn't look good. Thanks so much for your help.

Hello

Would you have a URL to an example of your PNG images?

Yes, to follow is a sample from our site. We double-checked to make sure they were true png's by saving the image from the site to our desktop and then opening in Photoshop and the background is transparent. Not sure why it won't import that way. Thanks so much for your help.

Thank you

To amend could you try adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters..

.item-image img {
background-color: transparent;
border: medium none;
}

Does it need to go next to each image in the template or can i put in one spot to cover all images that are imported. Either way, where specifically should that code be placed in the template? My web person is out of town until next week and we want to fix prior to that. Thanks so much for your help.

Hello

The CSS can be added to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters which will then be applied to all such images across your site. From your Joomla administration navigate to Extensions -> Template Manager -> [YourTemplate] -> Custom CSS, add the CSS to the field provided and save.
