Habitat Slide Show - Missing Photo

I have seven photos in my images/slideshow folder. At one point all seven would appear in the home page slideshow. Now the fifth photo in the sequence does not appear. I have deleted this photo and then uploaded it again. Still no joy. This seems odd why would one photo from the middle of a sequence stop appearing in the slide show?

Hello

Ensure that there is no spaces within the images filename and that the file extension is in lowercase..

Yes: my-image.jpg
No: my image.JPG

I checked and there were no spaces (Joomla autofills any spaces in file names with hyphens when you upload a file). It appears the problem was due to CAPITAL letters in the jpg extension. Truly something that I would not have figured out on my own especially since I could preview the problematic file in the slideshow folder.
