Working with the Stockholm template. I'm having two problems with the grid gallery module.

1. It's automatically condensing my photos for the thumbnail view. I can't crop them to a square size because that will make me lose pertinent information in the photo. I have both landscape and portrait formats, and would like the thumb to crop, not condense the images.

2. I've tried to increase the size of the images using the width/height in general settings, but after a certain point, they don't seem to respond; is there a limit to the size in the module?

Hi Carolyn

1. Would you have a URL to an example of this issue?

2. The max size of the image is set by the actual dimensions of your image. For best results ensure that your image matches or exceeds the max image width set in your modules parameters.

Hi Ciaran, I too would like to be able to have thumbnails that in some cases take an part of the main image, instead of it all. For Istance, when an image gallery has 2 landscape images and 1 Portrait, the portrait image is squeezed.... as per the example below is there any way to overcome this?

Hi Patrick

The only option really available is to edit the thumbnail directly to your own taste. For your gallery you will find the distorted image here... http://ruxton.corranny-media.com/images/glass/thumbs/1.jpg

Try editing this image to a cropped landscape version minus the distortion.
