Thank you for a wonderful template.

I have 2 problems with my drop down Menus.

1. My Home page does not load the menu correctly, there is no smooth drop down it is instant. This does not happen on any other page, the menu functions correctly. This problem then leads to my next one.

2. Only on my Home page. I have a third level in my menu but when I move my cursor across to this level there is a gap between the drop down level and the next sub level. This cause all menus to disappear unless I move the cursor quickly.

I know if problem number 1 gets fixed then so will 2.

Appreciate your help.

Hi Steve

It sounds like an extension/plugin is clashing with your moomenu dropdown script on your homepage. May I suggest disabling modules on your homepage one by one until your moomenu functions correctly.

You got it! I have a drop down Login/Logout module only on my Home page which causes this problem. A nice looking mod but will now have to search for a replacement.

This is such a sweet Template, the best I have found.

Thank you so much for quick and accurate response, very much appreciated.

Just wanted to let you know I had the same problem with any jQuery dropdown Login modules. I have finally found an extension which works very well and looks good.

The reason I want to use a dropdown it to utilize the unused breadcrumbs area on the home pages. Space is a premium.

Thanks
Steve

Hi Steve

Thank you for the update. Great to hear you finally found a suitable solution.

It's important when using jQuery extensions that jQuery scripts run in no-conflict to avoid any conflicts with non jQuery scripts. A common issue as Joomla up until recently primarily uses mootools. For further details check out http://api.jquery.com/jQuery.noConflict/

I believe I found what you were referring to in the other's code calling an older version of jQuery which I am sure caused the conflict due to multiple versions in use.

You go above and beyond supporting this template and I am most grateful.

Thank you
