I need to be able to add some wording and links to individual slides on the homepage at the above domain. This does not appear to be possible with the current j51 slideshow module.

I tried to use a third party module which I have done at http://www.thecoffeehouse.london but it won't allow me to set the images to full width even when allocated to the showcase module.

Is either of these options going to be possible?

Thanks, Paul

Hi Paul

Would you have a URL to an example of your Renovate template using the 3rd party slideshow? It is possible we can set it to full width with some custom CSS.

Very nicely implemented sites BTW :)

You could try the following which works for your coffeehouse.london site...

#container_slideshow .wrapper960 {
width: 100%;
}

that's brilliant thank you.

As you can see at http://www.thecoffeehouse.london, the full width in the showcase position is now fine, but I can't get some of the slideshow modules to work. The one in use currently will only display the first slide and not the subsequent slides or the slideshow controls. I trued Widgetkit from Yoo Theme and that wouldn't display at all.

Can you tell whether this a conflict with the template or some sort of jquery conflict.
Thanks
Paul

Hi Paul

Most likely a jQuery conflict of some kind however may be template related. May I suggest sending temporary administration access to your Joomla installation to info@joomla51.com and we will examine this issue further. For our reference please paste a link to this post in your email.

Thank you Paul

There appears to have been a number of instances of jQuery been loaded so I took the liberty installing the 'jQuery Easy' plugin which ensures only one copy of jQuery is loaded across your site. Your slideshow appears to be now working correctly.
