Hello,
I am looking for a full screen module in which I can play a video and/or can display images... There is a 3rd party module (JUX Background Video) that fill the whole screen, but the module positions of your templates are not suitable the way I would like to display it...
Is something like this planned for the future?

It would be great if you could create something like this.
Or do you have another idea for a way to do this?

Thanks for the feedback...

Hi Wilfried

What kind of module position would you require for your module to work as expected?

Hello Ciaran,
thanks for the quick feedback!

This module position would be intended to automatically play the video on the home page completely full screen on the lowest level and only the logo and the menu is displayed.
The video should start automatically when entering the homepage, just like the JUX Background Video module makes it possible.
In some templates, the module position is called “fullscreen” and is on the lowest level.

Here is the link for an example:

With this template you can also run a video in the background..., not only images – but it's only Joomla 3 :-(

I prefer Joomla51 Templates, because they are very nice!

Thanks for the info!

Hi Wilfried

Admittedly I am not very familiar with the module extension, however looking at your example it appears require a module position in the root of your DOM. A module posityion that may be suitable is the debug module position.

Depending on which template you are using, you should be able to achieve that with either a module or just CSS.
