From Habitat to Boutique, what to do?

Hi.

I really like the new boutique template and i'd like to change my Habitat.

what can i do for a fast change without loose css, colors and settings?

Hello

Both templates would have the same module position names so you will have little or no work in that area. I am sorry to say any custom CSS and template settings will have to be mirrored across to your newly installed template.Presuming you dont uninstall your old template, your template style settings will remain, allowing you to duplicate to your new template with relative ease.

Sorry to say our Boutique does not include a layer styled slideshow as shown in the suggested URL. A popular commercial solution for this in Joomla can be found here... http://extensions.joomla.org/extension/layer-slider
