Hello Ciarán,
Is it possible to have simple formatting (bold text, line breakes, etc.) in the Joomla51 News module?
I like to use this on this page.
I did make an override for the module but that should not mather?
Thanks!
Greetings, Ton

Hi Ton
May I suggest sending temporary administration access to your Joomla installation to info@joomla51.com and we will examine this possibility further. For our reference please paste a link to this post in your email.

Hi Ciaran
I use the "Ensley"-template on my homepage. I use also the J51-News module and want to have line breaks in the intro text of the moduls. In the attachted image you can see a screenshot of my homepage and I marked the intra text area with a red line.
Is it possible that you make the same changes like in the post above on my homepage? Should I also send you administration access to my homepage?
Thanks for your reply and help.
Best regards
Basil

Hi Basil
I have created an override for your News module, disabling stripping of HTML.

Hello
The issue with allowing rich text in the caption area is if the caption character limit is reached within a richtext HTML element. In such cases, the opening HTML tag will be rendered but the closing HTML tag will not and therefore will have a negative effect on the rest of the page.
