Hi!
I have a problem with the menu in the Florence template.
In some places I have a three respectively four level menu items – looking like this:

3-level
Menu Header
|-- Single Article
|-- Menu Header
| |-- Single Article
| |-- Single Article
|-- Menu Header
| |-- Single Article
| |-- Single Article
and so on

4-level
Menu Header
|-- Single Article
|-- Menu Header
| |-- Menu Header
| | |-- Single Article
| | |-- Single Article
| |-- Menu Header
| | |-- Single Article
| | |-- Single Article
and so on

As long as I click some of the Menu Headers everything works normally. But the problem is – When I click any of the Single Article choices all the structure in that main level is opened. Nothing like this occur in the 2-level menu items.

I will provide you with web address and admin login if you give me a private way to send it. You need the login even to view the site.

Hello

May I suggest sending temporary administration access to your Joomla installation to info@joomla51.com and we will examine this issue further. For our reference please paste a link to this post in your email.

Thank you Taggen

Presuming I understand you correctly, your menu appears to be working as it should. If I click for example your 'Nyhetshantering' menu item, it's sub items will appear, clicking it's sub items (RAXO All-mode PRO) then opens the next level of sub-items. As the menu relies on the parent item to be clicked to open it's sub items it is not possible to link a parent item to an article as clicking this item will only ever open it's sub menu rather than following the link.

Just to confirm.... when you click this menu item linking to a single article, all your articles under the same category are been listed rather than the single article? I am sure you have but just to cancel the possibility please ensure that this menu item is in fact a 'Single Article' menu item and not a 'Category Blog' menu item. Would you have a URL to a live version of the issue on your site?

Sorry! The Menu item is not a 'Single Article' menu item but a 'Wrapper>IframeWrapper' menu item.
Example:
Facebook ( = Menu Header)
| - Hur hantera Facebook ( = Single Article)
| - Joomlatillägg ( = Menu Header)
| - | - JS Facebook Wall ( = Menu Header)
| - | - | - Översikt ( = Wrapper>Iframe Wrapper)
| - | - | - Demo - Wall style ( = Wrapper>Iframe Wrapper)
| - | - | - Demo - Timeline style ( = Wrapper>Iframe Wrapper)
| - | - | - Demo - Single Collumn style ( = Wrapper>Iframe Wrapper)
| - | - | - Joomla ( = Wrapper>Iframe Wrapper)
| - | - JS Facebook Wall ( = Menu Header)
| - | - | - Översikt ( = Wrapper>Iframe Wrapper)
| - | - | - Demo - ......
And so on.

When I click "JS Facebook wall" just it's submenus will open. But then if I click any of the "Översikt" or "Demo" submenus - everything under "Joomlatillägg" – every sub- and subsubmenu items - become open.

Yes please, I would like to have a URL to a live version of the issue.

Hi Taggen

As you have the same menu item in each sub menu (eg. Översikt), the menu will open each sub menu which contains the active menu item (Översikt). Is there a reason why you have the same menu item in each menu? Is this simply for test purposes? If so then the issue will be resolved once you have created the correct menu items.

I've made a test menu called "Test menu" in 3 levels with both Single Articles and Wrappers. I've made sure that all items have their own title and alias. Whether I click on an Article or a Wrapper Menu Item all Menu Items in all levels in the "Test menu" will open.
I also made a Top Level Single Article Menu Item called "Test menu 2". It doesn't open any other Menu Items.
So it could not have anything to do with the naming or type of menu items. The Multi Level Menu Items behave for some reason in a totally different way from the Top and Single Level Menu Items. And I wish them all to behave as the Top and Single Level Menu Items.

Thank you Taggen for creating the example articles. There appears to definitely be an issue here with the template which I wish to thank you for bringing to our attention. May I ask you to allow us access to your Extensions Manager so we can edit the template files and try and resolve the issue.
