The show all menu items does not work.
If I set the module options to "show all" then the menu should list all items including sub menu items. However it is only showing level 1.
See my test set up at

http://www.whitchurchwaterway.uk/nhome > only the level 1 menu items are shown.

Thanks for that.

That does seem to make the responsive menu work but now the normal menu level 1 items are not still not working.

I am thinking it would be better to have just Level 1 menu items, keep the list to about 16 or less items and maybe figure some way to highlight the sort of lead items in the list.... e.g. put spaces then a period after them so they get formatted over to the left.

(I put the CSS code into a custom.css file.)

[[Off now to a Waterway Trust committee meeting to see what they think of the new format!!]]

Yes does seem to be OK now.

On the http://www.whitchurchwaterway.uk/nhome"> site now the "Menu Level 1s" are NOT now set as "Menu Headings" >> they are Pages with articles on.

However in the Responsive View they appear as items with the arrows and if you click on them they do not open a page.

If I want a responsive menu to work must all the items with sub menus be "Menu Headings" ?

IS that a requirement of your template OR a Joomla requirement and/or good practice.?

I was trying to see if I could reduce the number of items that now show in the sidebar menu by not having menu headings that were not pages.

Hello

Are you having this issue on a particular page? Your homepage menu appears to be fine. Maybe check that you are not loading your CSS from cache (CTRL + F5).

OK that works for that.

However a different problem (that I have seen before) has returned.

Now in responsive view on my Smart Phone the little Arrows for th

elvel 1 items are on a second row. instead of just t the right of the text on the same row.

This happened before in the first version of Florence but disappeared in the second version a few days later.

See attached Firefox responsive view image. (Is the same on my LG G3).

Ah I understand...

To disable the display/hide toggle on the main menu try adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters...

.hornav ul {
margin: 0;
}
.hornav ul ul {
display: inline !important;
}

By "not displaying submenu items" I mean that i want all menu items levels 1 and two permanently showing in that Florence leftvhand side bar so that the user can more easily see the site contents.

I feel this best makes use of the Florencee design and follows the principals set out in a web design book I am using.

The page set up where sub menu items are not shown is at http://www.whitchurchwaterway.uk/nhome.
The menu in hornaz on the leftwhen viwed on a desktop.

Hello

Sounds like an issue that should not be related to your template regardless could you detail which menu on your site you are referring to? Your main menu appears to be currently displaying your sub menu items.
