Fatal error after installing package with Nina in J4

Hi Ciaran,

Installing Nina as a package with Joomla 4 gives a big problem, fatal error.
I downloaded the package march 29, installed it.

Then I got two warnings in the System Dashboard > Maintenance.
1. Database: one problem in Joomla CMS. However, there are 3 problems - see image I sent.
2. Global Check-in: 4 items to check-in in 'vry_modules table'

I first tried to check-in these 4 items - succeeded.
Back to database. Still the same 3 problems.
(the site is normal visible all the time)
(first there were problems for installing extra language, problem solved)

There is still the same one problem with the database: 'The tables are not up to date!'
Hitting the red button "One problem" with Joomla CMS shows 3 problems - see image I sent.
If I choose the button "Update Structure" whole of the backend is broken! See image 2 I sent.
Frontend is okay.
Logging out and in does not help.

What is going wrong?
And how can we solve this?

Now I tried it another way: uploading al the extracted files.
That gives me a great lot of failures. See image 'Nina-failures'.

Admittedly this error does no look to be related to your template, regardless, may I suggest sending temporary administration access to your Joomla installation to info@joomla51.com and we will examine this issue further. For our reference please paste a link to this post in your email.

I have updated and rebuilt the template demo installer to the latest version of Joomla (4.1.2) which I am hoping will resolve this issue. The updated demo installer is now available via your template downloads bundled with the Nina template.

This works - a litte bit.
The installation starts. But after entering database configuration I got this warning: "Duplicate entry '700-4.1.1-2022-02-20' for key 'PRIMARY' "

I don't know what this means. I tried once and again, the warning changed in the hated "Could not connect to database: Access denied for user..".

My problem, I'm afraid. But: the Demo-installations seens to work.

This Demo-installer seems still to be fucked up.
I tried is once and again and again and again local, so I can controll everything.

1. During installation, after database configuration, hitting 'Install Joomla' I get the warning:
Duplicate entry '700-4.1.1-2022-02-20' for key 'PRIMARY'
2. Just hitting again 'Install Joomla' gives (in dutch) "Het beveiligingstoken komt niet overeen. Het verzoek werd afgebroken om een inbreuk op de beveiliging te voorkomen. Probeer nogmaals." In English: "The safety token doesn't match. The request was aborted to prevent a security breach. Try again."
3. Just trying again gives again the warning Duplicate entry '700-4.1.1-2022-02-20' for key 'PRIMARY'. And so on.
This happens with of without choosing SSL.

4. Surprise: refreshing the browser window results in "Congratulations, your Joomla site is ready".

Opening Admin fails.
Opening the site succeeds. But logging in fails. "Not Found. The requested URL was not found on this server'"

Are you interested in the configuration.php ?

Even my Mamp Pro was fucked up after trying to deploy the Demo-install package, both on my Mac mini as Macbook!
I couldn't make changes, because 'Mamp was running a process'. Only after making a forced quit Mamp stopped, and removing the Demo-install package was needed to stop 'the process'.

Sorry Irish tigers, you can do better, can't you?

Hello

Ah my bad for not testing the package before uploading. All should be ok now. Admittedly we have been unable to replicate your original issue, however, we have been able to replicate the 700 issue which should be now resolved.

Ciaran, you're incredible.
1. It works.
2. Still with errors. See attached screenprints.
3. Only by ignoring the failures is seemed te succeed.

(Oh, it could have saved me lots, lots of hours if your demo-installation would have okay from te beginning...)
