Expanding Side Menu

I have the Novation template and I using a menu in the sidecolumn-a position. I would like the menu to flyout instead of just showing the submenus. Is this posible with side menus.

Hi Dave

By default this option is not available however there is a number of menu module extensions available that can be used to replace the default Joomla menu. For a list of whats available check out http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/structure-a-navigation/menu-systems
