What errors do you receive when using PHP 7 ?

Fonts are wrong, slideshow not working all the time, I can't access all the options in the template.

After a short wile I get this page:

When PHP7 applies I only get the error page on the website.

I have made a few changes which will hopefully allow you to update to PHP 7.2 without issue.

I have the same problem. Seems some issues with GetMenu comand in variables etc?

How can i get help or get functioning files?

I tried changing in the variables.php
on line 8

Line 8: $menu = &JSite::getMenu();

But still no solve.

I turned the PHP version back to 5.x and need solution before i turn it back again. It is obviously a command programming issue.
So giving login now with old PHP version is pointless.
It should be easy for you to replicate... try install an older PHP and setup, then switch PHP to any 7.x version

We are unable to replicate any issues locally with the Executive template running PHP 7.x. I have emailed you the latest download of the Executive template which should hopefully resolve any template related issues. To update you install the emailed install file via your Extensions manager.

Hi Ciáran, got the same troubles on the http://www.seminart.at. Tried to change to php7.1 , unable to reach back and frontend

Issue 0 - Call to undefined function mysql_connect()

Changed it back to 5.6., I am using template Vitality.

Just to confirm that this is a template related issue, could you try enabling one of the default Joomla templates (Protostar) and see if the issue still exists.

Hi, I have tried to change the template but somehow, a change is not possible. I always see the vitality template. Tried it on different browser and also on phone and tablet to be sure....

It appears your template was also been assigned via the 'Menu Assignment'. You should now be able to change your default template.

It is also worth checking that your modules are not at fault by disabling them and seeing if the issue gets resolved.

Thanks for the idea, unfortunately the problem still occurs with the standard template. I'll check back with the provider.
