Hi,

I've purchased revolve and it's a great template.
The only thing I've noticed is that there's a tendency for check/tick marks to appear unexpectedly. This occurs particularly when I add other Joomla modules.

I narrowed the problem down to this bit of CSS:

.maincontent ul li:before {
color: #000;
content: "\f00c";
font-family: "FontAwesome";
margin-right: 7px;
font-size: 1.2em;
}

Unordered lists are used fairly extensive in Joomla modules and CSS techniques in general. It therefore seems to me that, by changing the default styling of li::before, those check marks are going to frequently appear where they aren't wanted.

I am by no means a CSS expert. However, since Revolve already has specific class types for check marks (ul class="tick";), might I suggest that li::before be removed (or at least moved to a specific class of ul) so that, where no class is specified, UL and LI will work as other modules expect?

Hello

Thank you for your post. A very valid point and it is something we have realised of late that using the :before pseudo element to display list icons will cause issues with extensions that use a ul list. We therefore have taken on your suggestion and moved this list item to a class (.tick). This update has been applied to the latest download of the template. For details on updating please check out the following post... http://www.joomla51.com/tutorials/item/updating-your-template

Thanks again for your post and suggestion.
