Error report on Oxygen installation

Hello J51 Team,
I tested the Oxygen template and it came up with errors, and it is just peculiar to this template, while others (not from you) works. See errors below.

Hi Mokor

The issue should amend itself once you upload your site to your host. In the mean time you can set Error Reporting to Simple via your Joomla administration (Site -> Global Configuration -> Server -> Error Reporting).

Hello,
Is it possible to install the demo theme for the Template?
Then I could walk through the demo to understand how things really work in the template.

Above is a zip containing a copy of the demo SQL database and the images folder which along with the template and extension files will be all you need to recreate the template demo.

Username: admin
Password: password
Table Prefix: jos_

We'll be putting together a detailed tutorial on importing the database over the next couple of days which I will post here.

But how can it be installed?
"Upload Package File" and "install from Directory" does not work, and I do not see any Joomla installation files in them after extracting.
Any tips please, on where to use the Username, Password and Table Prefix that you have kindly provided?

Hi Ciaran,

the instructions you have written i have 2 questions.

1. are these instructions for all your templates?
2. there is no download link for the demo content in the pdf. there is also no demo content in my download of the oxygen template (commercial and free). i have noticed earlier on this thread the demo content but you might consider putting a link in the pdf for the content zip.
3. please put the instructions and demo content on your website so they can easily be found.

other than that, spot on.

1. The instructions would remain the same however the database will obviously differ. We hope to be including the demo database with most of our most recent template releases over the coming weeks.

2/3. The database and PDF will be included with both versions of our Oxygen template over the next day or 2.

Hello Ciarán,I have
"Imported the SQL database to my Joomla Installation"
"Imported the Template Demos Images folder"
but when I go to "Install all files from the Template Install Files folder",
I find that I cannot access my Joomla Administration again (I believe I have deleted it as was instructed to replace it with j51_template.sql.

How can I enter my Joomla Admin to "Install all files from the Template Install Files folder"?

or should I simply install the Oxygen Template first before embarking on adding the Oxygen demo, following the instructions?

Hi Mokor

When you import the SQL database you will be overwriting you Joomla users with that of the database. The admin access details for the SQL database are as follows..

Username: admin
Password: password

After logging in be sure to changes these details in your User Manager to that of your choice.

Thanks.

I uninstalled everything; xampp down to Joomla 2.5, all templates and then re-installed all again from scratch, and followed your instructions, to the letter, and hurrrrrray, it worked.

Thanks a million. Pls dont forget I am a newbie to Joomla and Joomla51 templates, but and I am really impressed. Real super.

I want to try and adapt the Oxygen free template to my own ideas and I will keep you posted as it goes along.

You guys are great. There WAS no need for me to join a Joomla Template club, in the first place. Now I am addicted to Joomla51.

Going to keep you guys posted.
