Endeavour drop down menu

I have dug through the code and cannot figure out why the drop down menu, for stallions and mares, only drops down when you are on the main page of the category or viewing an article, in one of the categories.

I tried adding the "module_menu" as you suggested on another site, but it made no difference.
I'm not sure if you did something (to the other site) other than add that directory.

I have set the 'Always show sub menu items' to yes and added 'moomenu' to the 'Menu Tag ID' field. All appears to be working correctly.
