Hello,

I am trying to edit out some items in the Menu. There presently are:

Home | Template Parameters | Moomenu | Module Positions | Typography

1. Where can I remove some of the items that I dont need? e.g MooMenu etc

2. When I buy an Oxygen Template, do I have to go through all these processes to effect all the settings that I have made so far on the free template?

3. The Image Show that comes with the Oxygen Template. How can I create my own Image Show but not with the present width that is featured in the Demo?

4. How can I create an Audio/Video page and Magazine page in the Oxygen Template. I wish to feature some of my audio, video and magazine (publication) materials that I have done. What should be done to be able to create such a page? Or, do I have to only create a link and store the original files in a folder on a server?

Best Regards
Mokor

Hi Mokor

1. Menu items can be removed/edited via your Menu Manager (Menus -> Main Menu/Top)

2. Upon purchase we can direct you in removing the footer information on your present template. Just drop us an email to info@joomla51.com and someone will help you out.

3. You can override the templates slideshow width by adding the following to the templates Custom CSS field..
#container_slideshow .box_skitter {width: 600px !important;}
... where 600px is your new slideshow width.

4. A number of extension are available for Joomla specific to audio/video. For a list of whats available check out.. http://extensions.joomla.org/

Hello Ciarán,

I have succeeded in resizing the slide show width, Thx a million.

1. Please I would like to move and resize everything. Side colum a + b and Component to align with the resized image that is now 600px of the slide show. As well as Menu bar, Name field above, base-1a, b, c boxes.
I have tried the Module Widths section but the modules dont seem to resize.

2. Please where can I change and / or add to the Facebook Social Plugins?

3. There is a large space where the "bottom" and "base" modules should be, since the text that I added is very minimal. How can I possibly remove the unnecessary space?

4. Is it possible to resize the entire outer box that houses the modules to be smaller? I really have excessive spaces all around and would like to reduce to fit nearer to the 600px slide show presently.

Thanks

Mokor

1. It is not possible with this template to alter the entire width of the template. Module widths can be edited individualy using Module Widths and Layout Options sections of the templates parameters however all module widths will remain within the tmeplate wrapper of 960px.

2. Only a Facebook link icon is included with the template which can be edited via the templates parameters. Try http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/social-web/social-display/facebook-integration

3. Would you have a URL to an exampple of this?

4. See point 1.

Try adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters...
.content_header {padding-top:10px;}
Hi Ciarán,

So far so good, doing fine.

1. Please how do I increase the point size of the "Hornav" text?

2. The Front Page looks good, I want to create another page. The "Typography" button I have changed to "Contact" and I want to create a "Contact Form"

3. The Front Page will always be open and free to all viewers. But the other pages I want to be only available to those that I have "Granted Access". I want to "Moderate" who gets access to go to other parts of the website.

4. The "Contact Form" in Q2 above should be the mode of contact for those that I should grant the permissions. (but I would not want to always go into the Back-End of Joomla to do this.

Thanks

Ok Fine,

I cannot get access to the other page through the menu where we have "Template Parameters" "Module Positions" "Typography" etc. I must have clicked something somewhere.

Please where can I get it activated back?

Thanks
