Hi,
I want to use JCE to edit a text in a module in Chelsea. When I use the 'read more' button, it does not work: I get a double line: see text next to the YT, half way:

How to ad a 'read more' function in a text in a module? With and without using JCE?
Thanks, Wouter

Hi Wouter

I am not sure if this would be a template related issue. To confirm this could you check if you are getting the same issue if using one of the default Joomla templates (Protostar)?

Hi,
Think I understand what is going on. The read-more button only works if an article is categorized under 'categoryblog' as an menu-item. As a 'single articicle' the read-more button does not work although the button is present under the the JCE options. Apparently JCE and Joomla do not work well together all the time.

In modules the read-more button does not work at all. Strange, because in the html code one can see the read-more code.

Would be nice Chelsea would have the read-more function in modules but I can imagine it is hard to code.

Thanks, Wouter

Hi Wouter

Unfortunately this would not be something that can be controlled by the template and more a Joomla issue. There is a couple of Joomla forum posts on this query which may offer you a suitable solution (eg. https://forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?t=593617).
