Double separators on the breadcrumbs

I added two menu items below the "Home" menu item on the main name, and now the breadcrumbs are showing two separators. Elsewhere on the site the breadcrumbs render as expected, only on the submenu items on the Home menu item.

Any idea why? The dev environment I am developing on is IP restricted so I cannot give the URL.

Hello

Unfortunately it is hard to say for sure without access to an example of your breadcrumbs module. Would you have a screenshot of the issue?
