Defer JS to improve speed

I'm using Cashmere and trying to improve page speed. Testing reports tell:

591.7KiB of JavaScript is parsed during initial page load. Defer parsing JavaScript to reduce blocking of page rendering.

How can I defer JS ?

Hello

I believe defering JS can be tricky with Joomla as not all the JS can be defered. Possibly your best option would be to use something like JCH Optimize which I believe has an option to defer the JS to the end of your page among other related tools..
