Hi, I have the following issue with enlighten template.
I want to highlight the current page menu item. I have done it this way:

.hornavmenu li.current a{
text-decoration: none;
display:block;
background-color:#a02c9c;
border-radius:5px;
color:#ffffff !important;
}

.moomenu li.current a{
text-decoration: none;
display:block;
background-color:#a02c9c;
border-radius:5px;
color:#ffffff !important;
}

The main menu is highlighted, but then also the submenu is highlighted. All items.
I want the main menu to be highlighted when the current page is being displayed and the submenus are not highlighted.
If a submenu page is being displayed I want the main menu item and the displayed submenu item highlighted.
I would appreciate it very much if you could help me with that. Thanks so much.
Kind regards B

Hi B

Try using the following CSS selector instead which will ensure only the top level menu item is effected...

#hornav > ul > li.current > a

Hi Ciaran, thanks! That is working for the main menu. I tried it for the submenu like that:
#hornav > ul > ul > li.current > a{
text-decoration: none;
display:block;
background-color:#a02c9c;
border-radius:5px;
color:#ffffff !important;
}

No reaction...

I want the main menu button to stay highlighted if a submenu button belonging to that main menu button is being selected, so people know here they are. So if a submenu button is being selected 2 buttons should be highlighted...

At the moment the submenu current item is not highlighted at all..
Would it be an option to add this into the styling of the template (in general I mean)?
Thank!

Hi B

Would you have a URL to an example of your menu and we will examine this further?
