Content adding <p> PianoForte

Content is adding a <p> tag everytime I press enter to go to the next line on any editor .
I have checked with JCE and all over the joomla forums and they all say its something to do with the template

Would you perhaps be able to assist me?

Hello

Not sure where you seen stated that paragraphs are added by your template?

Like in any word editor the return key will add a paragraph to your article. If you wish to place a <br /> tag instead try hitting SHIFT + RETURN.
