I am just getting started with resetting up the site. I have J4 installed, and the template installed and set as default. But when I go to the front end I get. See below. The site was displaying fine in the Cassiopeia as Default.
Any advise would be welcomed. The site is http://zenonpark.com/ZenonStage/

Tech support looked into this and in order to get the Template to display he did the following. He first of all wanted the template zip so he could compare it with the original settings

techsupport@hostpapasupport.com via fireflywebs.ca

The ZIP file is matching what is in place now.
2 changes were made to get the template loading so far:

- behavior::caption not found

Renamed templates/j51_colette/html/com_content to com_content-disable

Next error was:

- Cannot access protected property Joomla\CMS\Menu\MenuItem::$params

Updated templates/j51_colette/index.php from $menu->params; to $menu->getParams();

However the site isn't looking right in the formatting after the 2 fixes. It seems something with the theme.

I would advise contacting the developer of the theme so they can further advise.

The menu is appearing in one block in list format. How do I get the menu to display across the page? http://zenonpark.com/ZenonStage/index.php/en/
It doesn't appear if given the hornav position and is list format in top1a. Inspect shows it as id=moomenu

Hi Glen

I suspect that some of the J3 overrides have not been updated correctly. To amend, try deleting the folder ../templates/j51-colette/html and then installing the template again.

We did this.
Here is the reply from tech support

The html folder has been deleted and the theme j51_colette installed. The same fix for "Cannot access protected property Joomla\CMS\Menu\MenuItem::$params" was also applied as it had the error after the theme install.

The staging site seems to be the same now after the procedure.

You might need to follow up with the theme developer with the pending issues.

Please see: http://zenonpark.com/ZenonStage/index.php/en/ for how the menu looks.
Also the module titles are hidden even though I have them set to show.

Hi Glen

The styling for all menus, with the exception of the hornav menu either side of the logo, is in a vertical list. Considering the number of items in your menu and I assume you would like to hide child levels behind a dropdown, may I suggest using a module extension like... https://extensions.joomla.org/extension/structure-a-navigation/menu-systems/maxi-menu-ck/

Thank you for the menu tip but for language switching I think the maxi-menu will be problematic. I've elected not to use it at this point but sticking to the hornav position which I finally have working.

I have three menus MainMenuEnglish, MainMenuFrench and Main Menu. For now I am using 'main menu' in the hornav position in order for something to display there. The other two will not.

However, the menu is not splitting but is overlapping the logo, and the submenu items are partially hidden behind the banner image.

Also, how do I set the MainMenuEnglish as default Home. The Main Menu shows the little house icon (default home) and I can't get the default to switch to MainMenuEnglish. Perhaps I don't need this 3rd menu as the 'Main Menu' is also English but I need to switch between English and French and it is not doing so. English is default, but the menu is not switching to French with the switcher.

The Module Titles are not showing for Top 2a, 2b, 2c. I have them set to show.
