Hi there. I have bought several of your templates and love your work. The one I am working with right now is Oxygen.

I do have a question I am hoping you may be able to help me with. When I click on the site logo at the top of the page, it takes me to <domain>/index.php. For search engine rankings, I would like this to redirect me to the domain without the /index.php at the end. I have searched through some of the template files and couldn't find how to change this.

If I change to any of the default Joomla templates, the logo always redirects back to the parent domain without the /index.php at the end and this is what I am hoping to achieve.

Can you please tell me how I might fix this, so that I can fix it on all my sites that use your templates?

Regards,

Tim :)

Hi Tim

Sure. In your templates header.php (../templates/j51_oxygen/php/layouts/header.php) replace the following to link to your own URL...

href="index.php"

Example...

href="http://www.yoursite.com/"

You will find two instances of the above, one for an image based logo and the other for a text based logo.

Awesome, that works a treat. Not sure why I didn't find that - must have had a hard day haha.

Thank you.
