Could you please recommend a template for a classified website also if you can help with extension that will work with your template to run a classified websites.

The following extension should do the trick for you however anything list on the Jomla JED (http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/ads-a-affiliates/classified-ads) should work without any issue...
