Hi there,

Just having a play to switch up our website a bit and have decided to use a background image. Is there any way to vary the background image from a pre-set selection or have different images on different pages?

Thanks,

Euan

Hi Eaun

Multiple template styles can be created which can be assigned to the menu items of your choice. With each style you can then set a different background image. For details on creating multiple template styles may I suggest the following tutorial... http://www.joomla51.com/tutorials/item/creating-multiple-template-styles

Cool, thanks, I'll have a look at that - didn't think of tackling it that way - every day's a school day!

While we're talking background images, is there a simple way to create the vertical parallax design effect which is very popular at the moment, so that as you scroll down, there are bands of information and then the background is revealed (perhaps with more text on it) and then there's more bands of info?

Cheers,

Euan

That'll mean that I can stop faffing around trying to get it to work! :)

Do any of the templates have that styling available?

Cheers,

Euan
