changing templates

Hello,

I have the oxygen template at the moment and I was wondering if I bought the metropolis template would that mean the articles, extensions, components etc would need to be re-installed for the new template or would they automatically work?

I have the JEA component with, slideshow and thumbs gallery set up for property listings.

Hi Hakan

Replacing your template would not effect any of your Joomla content. The only problem you might have would be different module position names in which case you would have to re position some of your modules to the new template module positions. If you are using a relatively new version of our Oxygen template then this shouldn't be a problem as it would share the same names as our Metropolis template.
