I am modifying the background image to a gold pattern that goes completely across the width of the page. My problem is attempting to match the pattern to the header with a narrow strip of the same pattern.

Is there a way that I can use the pattern for the entire webpage including the header in order to avoid trying to match exactly the pattern to keep from have a seam?

I have a header image in a PNG file which I would like to place in the header position over a pattern background which is a single graphic.

Any suggestions on how to accomplish this modification.
