Hi
I've just started setting up our new website using your central template. its looking really good.

Just wondering if it is possible to change the picture in the template (both when the menu is on the bottom and top, with a scrolling slideshow like you have in your Alexis template

thanks
Matt

Hi Matt

Sorry to say the template options only allows for one image in this area. The closest option I can think of would be to place the slideshow module in the 'showcase' module position as seen here... http://demo.joomla51.com/0118/index.php/features/module-positions

Hi Ciarán -- I have a related question. I like the style of the page you're referring to: http://demo.joomla51.com/0118/index.php/features/module-positions Is there a way to have that formatting on my home page (without the slideshow). I'm not having success in recreating it. I'm attaching a screen shot of my home page. You'll see that although I have the module in showcase position, it doesn't stretch across the page and there is space all around it.

Hello

A background image can be set for the header area of your template (http://demo.joomla51.com/0118/index.php/features/module-positions ) via the 'Styling' tab of your templates parameters (Extensions -> Template Manager -> [YourTemplate] -> Styling. This image will be positioned behind the slideshow as seen in the demo URL.

Hi Ciarán,
Sorry, I did't do a good job of explaining. Hopefully, I'll do better this time. :) I'm attaching two files: 1) the home page with the background image 2) the same page after I scroll down. The second look is the one I'm going for -- image in showcase position but with only one menu at top. Is that possible?

Thanks,
rita

Thank you :)

One option would be to set your background image via the showcase background image option and disable the 'Header Full Screen' option. You will then need to create some empty space in the 'showcase' module position. Navigate to Extensions -> Module Manager -> New -> Custom HTML, place some empty lines within the editor and set to the 'Showcase' module position.
