Hello
To center your menu try adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters...
If you firstly place your login module in the header-2 module position we can then put together the CSS needed to get it horizontal.

Thank you however it appears you have decided to place your login module in the sidecol-b module position instead. Is this correct?

thanks for your help.

I just looked around in the forum an found some intresting blogs.
https://www.joomla51.com/tutorials/item/adding-a-module-to-the-menu-dropdown
(if i could implement it like this, ist would be great, but it doesn t seem to work on the Caitlin template)
A login like in the demo http://www.joomla51.com/demo/0133/ would be ok for me too but if i put it in header 1, the hornav gets way to big.
thanks

Hi Deikvan
Admittedly the area you have available would be to small to accommodate a login form. To create a login button similar to that of our 'Caitlin' template following the following steps..
1. Create a new menu called 'Login Menu'.
2. Within this menu create a menu item linking to your login (Menu Item Type -> Users -> Login Form)/
3. Create a menu module for this menu item in the header-2 module position (Styling can bu supplied if needed).

I got to look for something else. Can i somehow put it over the header backround images? in the right upper corner?
If not i ll probably just put it in the sidecontrol.

Hello
It may be worth considering a login module extension. There is a number of options available which will offer you a more compact version of the login module...
https://extensions.joomla.org/extension/loginplus
https://extensions.joomla.org/extension/bt-login
https://extensions.joomla.org/extension/login-styles
https://extensions.joomla.org/extension/sclogin-enhanced-login
