Carmen layerSlideshow not working properly

Hello

I load three pictures into layerSlideshow. After all three pictures have been displayed once and I click onto slider navigation, second picture is not displayed anymore.

Sometimes it's third picture as well not showing anymore, slider is blank (but animation goes on).

To reproduce I just click slider navigation a few times.

I use Joomla 3.9.22 and just installed latest version of Carmen template and its modules. Problem still exists.
I did exchange pictures as well, still no luck.
It's a small website with almost no other extensions installed.

Any idea what could it be?
