This should/could be a news module.
Look in the "site modules" there the "J51_news" module!

I see that it has 4 columns but how do we edit it? There is no link or source ???

I don't use the template, but you only need it in the Joomla backend under: Content -> Site module (then filter options tab on module type: "J51_news" ) the: call up the appropriate module and then in the options: tab: "General Settings" and "Layout Settings" make your desired settings
