Be sure to place the CSS within the media query (@media...)

That code isn't in the Tablet (Portrait) section...it's in the Tablet (Landscape) section.

When I replace it, it does not work anyway.

We are unable to notice the changes in your templates responsive.css (http://198.20.228.223/~angelhea/templates/j51_calibra/css/responsive.css).

May I suggest sending temporary administration access to your Joomla installation to info@joomla51.com and we will examine this issue further. For our reference please paste a link to this post in your email.

We have been unable to access your template via your template Joomla administration (only folders displaying in template editor). Regardless we have added the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters which should have the same effect.

We have considered your suggestion of allowing an option to display the desktop menu on larger mobile devices however we found the mobile menu to have better usability on touch devices due to the lack of a hover state for dropdown menus. We will look in to this again in the future.
