I renewed my membership largely to access the Header Slideshow in Caitlyn, as it is described in the demo as:
"Header Image Slideshow: Bring your website project to life by easily adding a selection of images to appear in a slideshow in the header area of your template. Setup of the slideshow is all done within the templates parameters without the need of any module extension. This has allowed us to style the slideshow to form perfectly within the styling of your template. The slideshow is fully responsive to ensure your images are displayed perfectly across all screen sizes and devices."
The Caitlyn demo displays 3 images, with light text superimposed over the images - text that changed, but not necessarily with the images. I installed the Caitlyn template, and have been hunting for how to install the images and (hopefully) input text to display over them. I finally found a place to select images; however once I do so only about an inch of the image is visible, rather than the 3 inches or so on the home page of your demo. What am I missing here?
Is there a way to input text on the header image, as the Caitlyn demo seems to suggest?
Also, I notice that the "sticky menu" below the header image is there no matter what. I thought at first it was the main menu, till I played with positions on the main menu module, and found that I could change module position of that menu, but that the "sticky menu" stayed put, currently obstructing the bottom 3/4 or more of the images I selected for the header.
I've used your other templates before, and added slide show modules to all my home pages on my various sites. But none of these had the ability to input text - so I was excited when it seemed that this came loaded with Caitlyn. So far, I'm just running into one roadblock after another. Help!?
PS - I initially tried to use the DemoInstaller.zip - but got error messages in that attempt, as follows:
Warning
JInstaller: :Install: Can't find Joomla XML setup file.
Error
Unable to find install package
I'd hoped the DemoInstaller would replicate the image sizing, coloration, etc of your demo, as I really like that. But, couldn't get it to work. Suggestions?
