During today's (October 9, 2025) installation attempts, the error described above in the forum still occurred.

I have test to combine install directory from other template, leave only sql dir -> same issue...

I have just updated to the latest Joomla version and rebuilt the demo installer for the Caitlin template which should hopefully resolve this issue. Could you check that this is the case? To obtain simply re-download from your template downloads.

Yes - installed as described.
It's not my first installation either.

In addition to caitlin, we have now also installed the demo installations of other templates.
amelia, chloe, elvira, emani, jasmine, juliet, kinvara, layla, london, magnolia, nina, novah, riley, sophia and stella work.
The demo site can be installed.

At the moment only caitlin would be important for us.
We would also like to be able to use the demo installation for this purpose.
