I had a menu showing up in sidecol-b in Caitlin, worked fine. I updated the template to the latest version and now sidecol-b just doesn't show up. My template was not customised, so it didn't override anything -- the sidecol-b just disappeared and to top it off, the template for this area (Member Area) is reverting to the default menu. Help -- can't figure out what's going on!

The site is womeninamerica.org -- when you click on Member Login it shows the correct template UNTIL you log in, then it reverts to the default template instead of showing the same template as the login form.

Thanks,
Lee

Thank you Lee

Your sidecolumn menu should now be displaying correctly. The side column width was set to 0% in the 'Layout Options' tab of your templates parameters.

However, it's the WRONG template version. So it's NOT fixed.

The Member Menu should only display on the Member Area pages -- not all of them. Instead of the correct template, J51_Caitlin - MemberArea, it is showing the default template. It is the correct template when you click on Member Login, but once logged in, it reverts back to the default template. It should say" W.O.M.E.N. in America Member Area" in the header area, but it's not. All of the other sections with their own templates seem to be working fine.

Also, I DO NOT want side columns on the default template, so that's why they were set to 0. The default template is for the home page only.

Thanks,
Lee

Hi Lee

The issue appears to be related to your 'System - Regular Labs Library' plugin. When disabled the correct template style is been displayed.

You should have no real reason to set the side column width to 0. If no sidecolumn module exists for a page then that column will automatically be hidden by the template. The best option when you do not wish to have a side column module on certain page is to simply disable it for that menu item. Your template should do the rest.

Thank you for the information -- I disabled the plugin and it seems to be working well now. But why would a plugin affect a template like that? Very weird.

Hello

It does seem rather strange. The plugin seems to effect the menu assignment of all templates. May I suggest contacting the extension developer who would be in a better position to answer your query.
