Hi there.

I know it is a relatively old template, but I have a few questions about "Caitlin".

1)
I am trying to use a picture, 1160x399 in the header in the header (Header Slideshow Image) but the image wasn't entirely displayed so I added

#header {
height: 399px;
}
in the "custom css", but the image is blurry/streched.
The only way to get a proper image is to set the height at 330px.

Why is that?
Is there a way to have my image properly displayed at 1160x399?

2) Is there a way of making the small arrows for the dropdown menu disapear/not be displayed?

I can provide an url through your email if nescessary.

Thank you.

Damien.

Hi Damien

1. Would you have a URL to an example of this issue?

2. To amend you can add the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters (Extensions -> Templates -> [YourTemplateStyle] -> Custom CSS)....

.hornav > ul > .parent::after {
display: none;
}

Hi Ciaran.

Thank you for your reply.
The arrows are not displayed anymore.

For the blurry picture, It seemed to be related to the size of the slideshow, so I tried :

#vegas-slideshow {
height: 399px;
}
...and it seems to be working.

I have emailed you a link.

Thank you again for your time.

Hi Ciaran.

Yes, I managed to make it work.
I have one more question though...
How do I do for the menu of the page being visited to be of a different colour (a:active) ?
Been trying a few things, it doesn't work :(
