Boss - VM phone template

Hello Ciaran,

I added the following lines in the custom css:

.vm-product-descr-container-0 {text-align:center!important;}

.vm-product-rating-container {text-align:center!important;}

.product.vm-col {width:60px;height:200px;}

.vm-pagination {font-size:12px!important;}

.product-description span.title {display: none;}

After that and having already chosen in the Viruemart Template zero (0) as Default number of products in a row, the product view area stopped acting as responsive in my iphone and continues to show three products per row instead of one per row in the portait and two in the landscape view.

Unfortunately I don't have a tablet in order to check there also. The problem may appear in the tablet also!

Hi Eri

Have you since resolved this issue? On every device we have checked your products reduce in to less columns depending on the space available.

Hello Ciaran,

1. I noticed that the line .product.vm-col {width:60px;height:200px;} I have added in custom css creates the problem. If i remove it from the custom css and leave the number of products in a row parameter in virtuemart template equal to 0 the problem is solved in iphone but the view on desktop only leaves one product per row which I don't like. Then if I set the number of products in a row parameter in virtuemart template equal to 3 then in iphone landscape it shows two products in one row and one product alone in the next row which I don't like either.

2. I also noticed that the navigation bar at the bottom of iphone does not act as responsive

Any ideas on the above issues?

Hi again Ciaran,

I found a workaround with the 1st issue by setting the number of products in a row parameter in VM template equal to 6..

The problem though with the non responsive page navigation bar in the portrait view of the iphone remains.. Any idea on this?

Hi Eri

These would be more Virtuemart template issues rather than Joomla template issues. Regardless to resolve try adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters..


.vm-pagination ul li {
    display: inline-block;
}
