Hello Ciaran,
I translated my website in greek but the result does not seem nice as the font I use in the english version of the site (Great Vibes and Lato) probably does not a corresponding font in greek.
Could you propose me a solution so that the greek version of the site also to look nice?
En ulr: http://www.gw-thegreekwineroutes.com/index.php/en/

Thank you in advance.

Hello Ciaran,
I tried to transform the styles.php but there's a line of css code that appeared on the top of the site (body, input, button, select, textarea {font-family:Lato } ) and I cannot figure out why?
url: http://www.gw-thegreekwineroutes.com/en/
I imagine the problem is in the following two rows...
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=<?php echo $body_fontstyle ?>" /
<style type="text/css">body, input, button, select, textarea {font-family:<?php echo ($body_fontstyle); ?> }</style>
Could you please help?
Thank you in advance!

Hi Eri
Could you check that the 'Custom Code' fields of your templates parameters are empty, if not try emptying these fields and see if the issue persists?
If not may I suggest sending temporary administration access to your Joomla installation to info@joomla51.com and we will examine this issue further. For our reference please paste a link to this post in your email.

Thank you Ciaran,
Now it's back to normal except the fact that in the mobile version of the site, http://www.gw-thegreekwineroutes.com/el, the intro slogan just below the logo image does not appear in the right way. There should be a phrase but instead I only see some greek letters.
Please compare the particular link in your desktop and your mobile and I have not checked if the problem exists in the tab version of the site - in order to see the problem.
Thanks once again for your help!
Kind regards,
Eri

Hello Ciarán,
Regarding the problem with the greek fonts...
I noticed that the problem comes with the Italics!
In the pic Pic1_font_italics.jpg of my iphone you can see the area in the red circle showing some greek letters instead of the whole translation of the phrase "...a sip of greek culture, hospitality and elegance, paired with the flavours of an enchanting past and intriguing present..." in greek! I have set the translation to italics.
Accordingly in the pic Pic2_font_Nonitalics.jpg of my iphone you can see the area in the red circle showing the whole translated phrase in greek. And in this case I have removed the Italics format in the translation!
Could you now imagine a possible reasong why is this happening?
Thanks again!
Eri

Hi Eri
The issue may be related to limitations with the font itself. Are you having similar issues when using other Google fonts which include Greek characters?

Hello again Ciaran!
I need your help again regarding the issue with the greek fonts.
Garamond seems ok for both versions, but I still have problem with Great Vibes which does not support greek but on the other hand I don't want to change for the english version of the site as it looks really nice.
Is there a way you could propose where especially and only for the greek version of site I could use a different font that I would choose, but simultaneously in the english version of the site the Great Vibes could remain?
Thank you again for your kind help!!
Regards,
Eri

Hi Eri
You could try creating a second template style assigned to just the English version of your site in which you will select the 'Great Vibes' font. For details on creating multiple template styles may I suggest the following article... http://www.joomla51.com/tutorials/item/creating-multiple-template-styles
