It is difficult to have a perfect image for all screen sizes especially considering the difference in ratio to lets say a portrait tablet and your desktop monitor. As the background will always expand in size to fill the viewport, your desktop will most likely crop the vertical while portrait devices will crop the horizontal. For our template demo we used a background image of 1800px * 1200px which we found best suited the image for all screensizes.

Hello,

Could you please tell me what is the ideal size of the background image in order to fit well at desktop as well as at ipad and iphone?

In the following site I have set the image at 1100(width)x1576(height). It fits alright to the ipad and iphone but in desktop the width seems to be bigger than the one of the template.

What do you advise me to do?
