Boss template background

Hello,
How do I make the menu in Boss template appear closer to my logo- in my case, higher
.

Also, how do I get the background image to continue all the way to the bottom, not have any white space-
. Currently, the home page is a blank page component, and I want only the slideshow to appear in that page.

To move up your top menu you can use the following custom CSS.. 


#hornav {

    position: relative;

    top: -30px;

}


Presuming I understand you correctly may I suggest the following article which details how to hide the component area of your template... http://www.joomla51.com/tutorials/item/hiding-the-component-article-area-on-a-page
