Hej, I am using the Beaumont-template.

1.
How do you create
* the text flying over the screen?
* transparant background (any position, with pictures and with articles)

2.
Combining slideshow (sidecol-a) with a landing article (main menu/special article) makes that the links in the landing article do not function.
Is there a why to get around this?

Hello

1. For our template demo (homepage) we created a carousel module (J51 Carousel) and placed is in the 'showcase' module position. Each module position by default has a transparent background. Do you mean making the background transparent for each module block?

2. To amend try adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters...

#container_spacer1 {
display: none;
}

ad 1:
thank you for the info.

Transparant:
not for every block, but I want to experiment with pictures and text - very much like what i have seen from your Beamont template samples.
For that I would like to try with similar text blocks on a picture background.

ad 2:
thank you. that worked fine!

Hello

Admittedly I am still a bit confused at what you are trying to achieve. Which area of the template demo are you trying to replicate? For the header area we set a background header image within the templates parameters and then added a carousel module in the 'showcase' module position to add some text. The showcase module position by default has a transparent background.

On https://www.pilgrimshem.org/nl/ you can see that the background on lower half of the screen is whitish/greyish .
How can I make that background transparant, whilst I can put text in that area?

Hello

To amend try adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters...

#container_base, #container_base::after, #container_footermenu, #container_copyright {
background-color: transparent;
}
