Hi Ciaran
I hope you're well.
On another project, this time using Beaumont.
I love the fade-in effect from the background photo on the homepage, scrolling down to the rest of the page
I have 2 queries with the template though. As always, your assistance is greatly appreciated:
1. I've used the layer slideshow to write "welcome to......" over the background image - this works OK in desktop layout, but gets cut off in mobile layout, also, I notice that the same works and a broken image icon display further up the page - the title is switched off and I've tried different layouts - could you have a look for me please?
whmtuk.com on the homepage
2. I'm using your icons module for some quick links - I'd like this in the blurry bit immediately under the photo but cannot for the life of me work out how to get them there. Also, they are not displaying in the centre of the circles, I've tried different sizes and so on - could you advise please?

I'm hoping that as usual, this is simply operator error and that I'll feel like a doofus, but as always, if you can put me out of my misery that would be great.

Best Wishes
Liz

Hi Ciaran

In addition to the below, I have one more query - in responsive layout on a small screen, the logo and its accompanying bar are too large and take up a lot of the screen on a smartphone.

Is there any way this can disappear, rather than staying in place as you scroll downwards please?

Hi Liz

1. / 2. May I suggest sending temporary administration access to your Joomla installation to info@joomla51.com and we will examine this issue further. For our reference please paste a link to this post in your email.

3. To amend try adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters...

.touch #container_header {
position: static !important;
}

Thank you Liz

1. Presuming you wish to replicate the rotating text as seen on the template demo may I suggest using the J51-Carousel module included with your download and place it in the 'showcase' module position.

2. I have updated your Icons module to the latest download which appears to have resolved this issue.

Hi Ciaran

Ok, I'm confused then, as that now overwrites the background image and I get nothing.

I'm trying to get the same effect as on the demo server, with the picture which scrolls upwards, and the writing coming across independently - the carousel doesn't give me this. So in that case, the layer slideshow would be a better fit? Also, in the Layer slideshow, the words are fine, but why are they repeated further up with the broken picture link?

Also, thanks for fixing the icon circles - I only downloaded your package on Sunday but understand its been updated, but I also wanted this where it is on the demo, and at the moment it's further down - I want them in the colour gradient as you have it. at the moment I can't get them that far up. Where do I have to put them

Could you have a look for me please?

Hi L

As you appear to have a single text (Welcome to...) I have placed this text in a Custom HTML module and placed it in the showcase module position. I have also edited your template settings similar to that of the template demo regarding the icons module.
