Background Image - Optimal Size

Is there a size range you recommend for the background image?

Also - I tried to add a background image, then changed my mind. I cleared the field, but the image still showed up, until I deleted the image from my Media Manager. Is there something else I should do instead to refresh to just a solid color background?

Hi Carrie

For our template demos the background images we used have be sized 1200px * 564px.

You should be able to clear the images using the large X to the right of the field. May I suggest sending temporary administration access to your Joomla installation to info@joomla51.com and we will examine this issue further. For our reference please paste a link to this post in your email.
