Hi,
first sorry for my English. It's not my native language.
I buy and install Artisan Template on my website http://versus-elements.fr

I download after that the Artisan demo template via FTP Filezilla.
I select Artisan template as favorite template in my administration plateform.

In apparence, the demo template does'nt appear.

Before this i also tried your method of installation :
i tried to follow your procedure https://www.joomla51.com/tutorials/item/setting-up-the-demo-installer

But at the end of installation procedure appears this error message
"warning
Jinstaller : Install : Can't find Joomla XML setup file ..."

How can i install properly the demo version ? Could you please help me.
Thank you
Regards
Philippe

I succeed to install the demo version of the template J51 Artisan.
I suggest you to better your explanation in your https://www.joomla51.com/tutorials/item/setting-up-the-demo-installer.

On step 3 of Joomla installation, you need to choose precisely (in Finalization"/ Type of Website) "Simple homepage in English".

I tried with the other options "No data" or "Data blog typ". It doesn't work.

Hello

Could you confirm for me that you have selected Default English (GB) Sample Data under Install Sample Data on the 3rd step of your Joomla installation to import the demo content for your template?

Hi,
thanks for your answer. I follow word to word your procedure https://www.joomla51.com/tutorials/item/setting-up-the-demo-installer.
1. First deleting all files in my www folder via Filezilla.
2. I put all files content in J51_Artisan_DemoInstaller_J36 in www file via Filezilla.
3. I install the Data Base
4. After my website looks like this http://versus-elements.fr
5. I go to the administrator plateform to choose the template Artisan. I can't find it. Only proposed Protostar and Beez 3
6 I check via Filezilla if J51_Artisan is still in templates files on the serveur. Yes it's.
7 I clear the cache in administrator plateform and the historic in Safari.

What is wrong ?
For information the J51_Artisan_DemoInstaller_J36 installed, it's 43 111 752 bits file and 8 747 elements.

Hi Phillipe

Your template appears to be installed correctly however you do not appear to have any data set up. For more information on this subject may I suggest the following article... https://www.joomla51.com/tutorials/item/cleaning-modules-from-demo-installer

To get an XML error when setting up the template demo installer would mean that you are attempting to install the template demo via your Joomla Extension Manager. This I'm sorry to say is incorrect. The 'Demo Installer' is a copy of Joomla with the sample data replaced with that of the template demo. To install ensure to follow the step carefully outlined in the following article.. https://www.joomla51.com/tutorials/item/setting-up-the-demo-installer
