Hi Team,

Followed the instructions from the Tutorials to install the Demo for the Artisan template

Step 1 & 2 had no problems.
However, step 3 to install Joomla keeps returning a 403 Forbidden error (http://www.traceytimsdesign.com.au/demo/)

What have I missed?

Thanks
Rob

Hi Rob

Are you having this issue on a localhost? Do you get the same error when you try a default Joomla install (https://downloads.joomla.org/)?

Hi Ciarán

The host was in a sub folder of the publicly available host in the original post

I tried making a clone of the site and then unzipped the demo but the same issue

Hi Ciarán,

Short answer - No,

Installing Joomla through Installatron worked without error.

Extracting the demo files into the folder the gives the 403 Forbidden error for both:
http://www.traceytimsdesign.com.au/demo/administrator/
and
http://www.traceytimsdesign.com.au/demo

I followed the steps in the Tutorial and several variations and am getting a little frustrated.

Trying to install into a subfolder of the site http://www.traceytimsdesign.com.au/ which has the template working so the expectation is that is should work.

If there is an alternative method or different or additional steps - please let me know.

Thanks
Rob

Hi Rob

We have updated the template demo installer to Joomla 3.6.4 and changed the sample data to the more widely supported UTF8 which should hopefully resolve this issue for you. To obtain simply re download the template from your 'My Downloads'.
