The login module uses bootstrap similar to that of the administration area. An option would be to place this module within an article and linking to it rather than linking to the default login page. it is not so similar: the admin log in includes images instead of text and there are "?" images instead of those ugly texts "Forgot your password?".

By default the Joomla login module/component no longer appears to include the 'forgot password' icons. Although these seem to have been recently removed as for a time these icons had been available. It may be worth considering installing a 3rd party login module. There appears to be a number of them available some of which may have the option available to you... http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/access-a-security/site-access/authentication

I understand. I prefer not to install many extensions because then I need to follow their upgrades and security matters. I think I'll hack the Hikashop log in and use it as main site Log In.

No hope to do it using php or similar. So I faked the Log In and now it looks like in this picture.

My only question now is: how can I set the Mod Title in h3? So that Log In text is similar to Registration text?

Your registration text would be in h2. Your best option would be to style your login title so it matches your h2 text. Would you have a URL to an example of your login module?

You can try adding the following to the Custom CSS field which will force the field widths above the bootstrap styling...

.input-prepend.input-append, .input-prepend.input-append input {

    width: 160px !important;

}
